Jeka Secure ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. Our core philosophy is that your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
2. Data Collection & Storage
We do not collect, transmit, or store your passwords, 2FA tokens, or secure notes on our servers. All sensitive data generated or saved within the Jeka Secure app is stored locally on your device and securely encrypted using the native iOS Keychain.
3. Network Tools & DNS Firewall
Jeka Secure includes network diagnostic tools (IP lookup, latency testing, speed analysis) and a local DNS Firewall feature. When using these features:
IP Lookup: A request is made to the third-party service ipapi.co to retrieve your public IP address, approximate location, and ISP information. This data is displayed to you and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.
Speed & Latency Tests: Small data transfers are performed to public endpoints (Cloudflare, Google, Apple) solely to measure network performance. No personal data is transmitted during these tests.
DNS Firewall: When enabled, the app creates a local VPN configuration on your device to redirect DNS queries to privacy-focused DNS providers (AdGuard DNS, Cloudflare Family, or Quad9). This is used exclusively for ad and tracker blocking. No traffic is routed through our servers. DNS queries are sent directly from your device to the selected DNS provider.
4. Third-Party DNS Providers
When the DNS Firewall is active, your DNS queries are processed by one of the following third-party providers, depending on your selection:

5. Analytics & Tracking
Jeka Secure does not integrate with any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. Your usage data remains completely anonymous and local to your device.
6. Permissions
The app may request the following permissions:
Face ID / Touch ID: Used strictly for local device authentication to unlock the app. We do not have access to your biometric data.
Camera: Used exclusively to scan 2FA QR codes. The image data is processed locally and discarded immediately.
VPN Configuration: Required to enable the local DNS Firewall. The VPN profile is configured entirely on-device and routes DNS queries only — no browsing data passes through any external proxy or server operated by us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Because we do not collect your contact information, we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
